Man had landed on the planet before: a fruitless, expensive fiasco of an expedition. Then, fifty years later a smaller but disastrous landing had left two men horribly and unexplainable dead. A group of campers stumble upon the remnants of a meteorite and discover some fanged, worm-like creatures have hitched a ride to Earth. A large city has been completely evacuated. An alien force of robots has invaded the city and is destroying all mankind! Frank and a handful of strangers wake up to the empty city and band together.
